Prologue   
“Hello stranger.” The old man’s wrinkled smile greets you as you all but knock down his door. You were actually looking for a pub to get lost in the crowd and drown your fears in a cup, but the man’s face invites you to take a seat beside the warm hearth and drink of his mead. Lowering yourself into a chair, he rises and hobbles into the next room to fetch you food and drink. The laws of kinship seem to hold in this city, at any rate. The old man re-enters the room and lays a leg of smoked lamb and a flagon of mead on the hearth before you.

The End?The End?   
“I’ve had it! I’ve had enough of EVERYTHING!” I screamed at my ceiling. It was 2 am and I was lying on top of my twisted bedclothes, stripped to the waist and covered in cold sweat. I had had my usual nightmares and felt my usual depression set in on waking. It surrounded me like a dark blanket. It was around me, above me, below me, inside me. It was everywhere; I simply could not get away from it.   
So, there I was, screaming at the ceiling in rage and sadness. I wasn’t being melodramatic, it was how I felt. I had lost it all to the depression, it came into my life when I was fifteen The End?

On the road again.

Well, It HAS been a while since I've written in here. In fact, I don't think I've actually written anything happy in here since I started this whole thing?

Right, time to fix that.

My writing has started to come along nicely, I'm getting inspiriation from the people I see around the place. I might do a Louis Nowra and write a twisted autobiographical story, changing names and shifting a few things around of course, but what the hey. Still, more and more of my Serant stuff is moving into my 'completed' pile and my prologue is coming together. In fact, I think I might post a bit of it up just to see what the net thinks of it.

Meh.

I hope Mr. Sohmer won't mind but I feel like using one of his sign-offs.
